I am going to start a series of blogs in which I go out to regular restaurants and order Keto-Friendly foods.  I am going to show you how easy it can be to stay on track while still engaging socially.  A common objection I hear from those that want to try Keto is that they often go out on social or business lunches and have to eat carbs.  With this series, I am going to show you that it is not only possible, but actually very easy to maintain Keto discipline at pretty much any restaurant.
Before I present my 1st Keto-Friendly food item I need to disclose the following. I have called these items Keto-Friendly, not Keto. The significance of this is that the "Keto Purists" out there may disprove of a number of these as they may contain some colored vegetables and some sauces that we Keto folks don't generally consume on a regular basis.  At the end of the day, don't overthink this.  With that being said....

Red Robin -
Lettuce Wrapped Bacon Cheese Burger

Most new folks feel the only options they have when they go out are to order salads.  That is far from the case.  Many of the Red Robin Burgers lend themselves to being lettuce wrapped.  The only thing I did differently was to wrap in lettuce and lose the buns.  Additionally I substituted Broccoli for the fries.  These are bottomless as well.  Other options could be to hold the tomatoes (these are a higher carb item), and go lighter on the sauces, as most commercial sauces are soy based (discussions on soy at a later date).  I promise you this is very filling, yet you will not leave feeling bloated.
I wouldn't recommend the Royal Burger as this has a fried egg.  The lack of a bread to facilitate soaking up the yolks could make this a messy meal.
